Dan Blanchet is a rock guitarist and singer based in the northern Virginia/DC Metro area. He has been active in music for over 25 years playing a variety of styles from classic rock to heavy metal, punk, alternative, jam bands and country. Dan is best known as the frontman of the DC-area power trio the Poöl Boys, specializing in alt. rock and hip hop covers from the 90s and early 2000s. Dan's influences include: Bruce Springsteen, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Police, the Eagles, Green Day, Dr. Dre, Sublime, the Killers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eminem, Lenny Kravitz, Radiohead, Nirvana, Tool, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, The White Stripes, Mumford and Sons and Jack Johnson.
